My name is Zoe Anne Bernardo but most people call me Zoe. I
was born in Guang Dong, China on November 1981 and came to
New Zealand on July 2002 as an overseas student.
I'm a confident and smart person with kind of a bubbly
personality. I'm a simple person who likes to laugh and enjoy staying
home watching a good comedy or reading a good book.
The reason I came to New Zealand was to have a bit of a
change. I want to see what was out there and to further my education.
When I arrived, I never looked back. New Zealand is small and very quiet
compared to China yet it is very beautiful in many ways.

I moved into this home occupied by a lovely family as a
homestay. This is where I met my husband, Davy. I moved in during
the day and he moved in that night. Some might call it "fate" but I call
it "magic".

We got married 2 years later at the "Hamilton Gardens"
which is about an hour and a half away from Auckland. It was a lovely
small garden wedding with all our love ones present and the sun was
shinning strong upon us. It was a prefect day.

Currently, I'm finishing my last semester in New Zealand
Diploma in Business. If everything goes according to plan, I should be
finished by July this year. Davy always ask me "What would you like to
do when you graduate?" The truth is, I'm not so sure yet. I don't know
whether I should do a different course, find a professional job, or plan
for a family. I suppose time will tell.
